I didn't get into roofing to start a company. I got into it to sell — close the job, go home, never touch a roof. What I found was an industry with a reputation problem: storm chasers, insurance games, and homeowners who had learned to expect the worst. I decided the better opportunity wasn't selling roofs. It was building the company people wished existed.

Luxury roofing chose me as much as I chose it. On a standard asphalt job, nobody really cares what goes up — it's a line item. On a luxury home, the owner cares deeply. They understand the roof is the fifth facade — the one surface that changes the entire character of the house from the street — and they're putting real money and real trust into it. That's where craftsmanship matters, and that's the only work I wanted to do.

So DW Construction does one thing: premium roofing systems, installed to the manufacturer's specification, with me as your single point of contact from the first inspection to the final walkthrough. Most of our work comes by referral. That's the only growth strategy we've ever needed.
