1. Who we are

DW Construction Group LLC, doing business as DW Construction, is a licensed roofing and general contracting company headquartered in Southlake, Texas. We build and repair roofs across the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

In this policy, “DW Construction,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean DW Construction Group LLC. “You” means anyone who visits our website, contacts us, requests an estimate, or hires us for work.

We wrote this policy in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, call us at 972-213-5496 and we will explain it.

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It covers:

  • Our website at dwroofingspecialist.com, including every form, phone link, and chat feature on it
  • Phone calls, text messages, and emails between you and our team
  • Information we gather while estimating, scheduling, and performing work at your property

It does not cover other companies’ websites, even when we link to them, and it does not cover your insurance carrier’s own handling of your claim.

3. Information you give us

Most of what we hold, you handed us on purpose. That includes:

  • Contact details — your name, phone number, email address, and the property address where the work will be done.
  • Project details — roof age and type, what you want done, photos you send us, measurements, and notes from our conversations.
  • Insurance claim information — if you ask us to work with your carrier, your claim number, adjuster contact, and the scope documents that go with it.
  • Payment information — the checks, card payments, or financing arrangements used to pay for work. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
  • Anything else you choose to send — documents, HOA correspondence, prior invoices, warranty paperwork.

You are never required to give us information. But if you leave out the property address or a way to reach you, we cannot quote or schedule the work.

4. Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, our hosting platform and analytics tools record standard technical information:

  • Your IP address and general location, usually at the city level
  • Browser and device type, screen size, and operating system
  • Which pages you viewed, how long you stayed, and which page or search sent you to us
  • The date and time of your visit

Our website platform records this for us directly. We use it to see which pages are useful, find broken ones, and understand which parts of DFW our visitors come from. We do not use it to identify you personally.

Information from other sources

We may also receive information about you from lead services and referral partners you contacted, from manufacturers whose products you asked about, from your insurance adjuster with your knowledge, and from publicly available property records used to measure and price a roof.

5. How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Answer your question, prepare an estimate, and schedule an inspection
  • Order materials, coordinate crews, and complete the work at your property
  • Register manufacturer warranties in your name
  • Communicate about your project — timelines, weather delays, permits, invoices, and follow-up
  • Support an insurance claim when you have asked us to
  • Bill you and keep the financial records our accountant and the IRS require
  • Handle warranty service and callbacks, sometimes years later
  • Send occasional maintenance reminders or company updates, if you asked for them
  • Improve our website and understand how people find us
  • Meet legal, licensing, insurance, and tax obligations, and resolve disputes if they arise

6. Text messaging

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send you messages about your project — appointment confirmations, crew arrival windows, weather delays, and answers to questions you asked.

  • Message frequency varies with the stage of your project.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 972-213-5496.
  • Opting out of texts does not cancel your project or stop us from reaching you by phone or email.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

7. Cookies and analytics

Our website does not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any other third-party tracking service. We do not follow you around the internet, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.

What the site does do is count visits. Our website platform stores a random session identifier in your browser and uses it to tally page views and visit length for us. That identifier is not tied to your name, and the counts come back to us as totals, not as a record of any one person.

We also use Google Search Console, which shows us the search terms that lead people to our site. Google reports those in aggregate; it does not place anything in your browser through our site and does not tell us who searched.

You can clear that stored identifier at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for dwroofingspecialist.com, or by browsing in a private window. Doing so does not break the site.

Our site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for how to honor them.

8. When we share information

We share your information only when it is needed to do the work you hired us for, or when the law requires it. Specifically:

  • Crews and subcontractors working on your property receive your name, address, phone number, and the scope of work.
  • Suppliers and manufacturers receive delivery details and, for warranty registration, your name and property address.
  • Your insurance carrier and adjuster receive claim documentation when you have asked us to work your claim.
  • Financing partners receive an application you choose to submit. We do not send your information to a lender unless you ask us to.
  • Service providers that run our business systems — website hosting, email, phone and texting, estimating software, payment processing, and accounting — handle your information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Cities and permitting offices receive the property address and scope of work when a permit is required.
  • Attorneys, insurers, or authorities receive information when we are legally required to provide it, or when we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.
  • A successor company would receive customer records if our business were sold or merged. If that happens, this policy travels with the records.

We do not record or monitor calls to our office.

Photographs of completed work

We photograph the roofs we build and repair, and we use those photos on our website, in proposals, and on our social media accounts. This is how a roofing company shows its work, and it is part of the agreement when you hire us.

We publish the photo and, at most, the city the project is in. We do not publish your name, your street address, your claim details, or photos of the inside of your home. If you would rather your property not appear in our marketing, tell us and we will take it down — before or after it is posted.

9. What we never do

  • We do not sell your personal information. Not to lead brokers, not to marketers, not to anyone.
  • We do not share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
  • We do not publish your name, street address, or insurance claim details alongside project photos.
  • We do not send your information to a lender, contractor, or partner company unless you asked us to.

10. How long we keep information

Estimates that never became jobs are kept for about two years. Records for completed work — contracts, invoices, photos, and warranty paperwork — are kept for as long as the workmanship and manufacturer warranties run, plus the period Texas law allows a construction claim to be brought. Tax and accounting records are kept as long as the IRS requires. Website analytics are kept on the retention schedule set in our analytics tools.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or destroy the paper copy.

11. How we protect information

We use reputable, password-protected business software, limit access to the people who need it, and use payment processors that handle card data on their own secured systems. Our website is served over an encrypted connection.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not tell you otherwise. If a breach ever affected your personal information, we would notify you as required by Texas law.

12. Your choices and rights

You can, at any time:

  • Ask what we have. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct it. Tell us to fix anything inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete it. We will delete what we are not required to keep for tax, warranty, insurance, or legal reasons, and we will tell you what we kept and why.
  • Stop marketing. Reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or just tell us. Project-related messages about active work are separate from marketing.
  • Ask us to take a photo down. If your property appears in our marketing and you would rather it did not, tell us and we will remove it.

To make a request, email or call us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity first — usually by confirming details of a project only you would know — and we will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

If you live in Texas or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may have additional rights under that law. We honor the requests above for every customer regardless of where you live.

13. Children's privacy

Our website and services are meant for adults who own or manage property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices change or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will make that clear on this page. Continuing to use our website or services after an update means the updated policy applies.
